There just might be another entry in the Guinness book of records, at least on the ‘Jamaican rock.’ On Saturday, October 23 high profile dancehall and reggae local artistes will entertain at an unprecedented show of ‘Greatness in Concert’ slated for the island’s National Stadium.
Sure enough Arthur Guinness, an entrepreneur, visionary and philanthropist might have been one proud founder of the Guinness brewery business, to learn that the entry fee will be the purchase of bottles of Guinness. From September 1 to October 21, during the special Under the cap Promotion, potential get a patrons have a chance to win tickets by texting the number under the specially marked Arthur Guinness Day cap with every purchase of a bottle of Guinness.
Persons over the age of 18, can also redeem four caps for a ticket at authorized redemption centres.
For the historic night, the line-up ranges from top celebrity artistes, Shaggy and Beenie Man of international fame, having copped the Grammy awards in the reggae category, and dancehall’s Mavado.
